Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

पाञज्चालस्य च दायादो धृष्टकेतुश्न चेदिप: । केकयाश्व महावीर्या भ्रातरो लोकविश्रुता:,पांचालराजकुमार धृष्टद्युम्न, चेदिराज धृष्टकेतु तथा महापराक्रमी लोकविख्यात केकयराजकुमार सभी भाई क्रोध और अमर्षमें भरकर धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंकी निन्दा करते हुए कुन्तीकुमारोंसे मिलनेके लिये वनमें गये और आपसमें इस प्रकार कहने लगे, “हमें क्या करना चाहिये”

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pāñcālasya ca dāyādo dhṛṣṭaketuś ca cedipaḥ | kekayāś ca mahāvīryā bhrātaro lokaviśrutāḥ ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パーンチャーラ家の後継者、チェーディ国王ドゥリシュタケートゥ、そして世に名高い勇猛なるケーカヤの兄弟たちは、怒りと憤懣に満ち、ドゥリタラーシュトラの子らを非難しつつ、クンティーの子らに会うため森へ赴いた。彼らは互いに言い交わした――「我らはいかにすべきか」。
