जामदग्न्यस्य विलापः, प्रतिज्ञा, क्षत्रिय-निग्रहः, दानयज्ञश्च

इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्चमें लोमशतीर्थयात्राके प्रसंगनें कार्तवीर्योपाख्यानमें जमदग्निवधविषयक एक सौ सोलहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Vanaparvake antargata tīrthayātrāparvaṇi Lomaśatīrthayātrāprasange Kārtavīryopākhyāne Jamadagnivadhaviṣayaka ekaśataṣoḍaśo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の「森住篇（ヴァナ・パルヴァ）」、その「ティールタ巡礼（ティールタ・ヤートラー）」の部において、ローマシャの巡礼譚の中の「カルタヴィーリヤ物語」は、ジャマダグニ殺害を扱う第百十六章をもって完結した。
