गङ्गाधारणम् (Gaṅgādhāraṇa) — Śiva Bears the Descent of Gaṅgā
स करिष्यति ते काम॑ पितृणां हितकाम्यया | (तपसा<55राधित: शम्भुर्भगवॉल्लोकभावन: ।) “विश्वभावन भगवान् शंकर तपस्याद्वारा आराधना करनेपर तुम्हारे पितरोंके हितकी इच्छासे अवश्य तुम्हारा मनोरथ पूर्ण करेंगे”
sa kariṣyati te kāmaṃ pitṝṇāṃ hitakāmyayā | (tapasā ārādhitaḥ śambhur bhagavān lokabhāvanaḥ) |
汝の願いは必ず成就する。汝が祖先の安寧を願うがゆえである。世界を養う吉祥なる主、シャンブ（シャンカラ）は、苦行によって敬虔に奉じられるなら、望みの恩寵を授け給う。とりわけ、その志が正しく、祖先の利益を目指すときには。
