Agastya’s Injunction
एवमादीनि कर्माणि येषां संख्या न विद्यते । अस्माकं भयभीतानां त्वं गतिर्मधुसूदन,'ऐसे-ऐसे आपके अनेक कर्म हैं, जिनकी कोई संख्या नहीं है। मधुसूदन! हम भयभीत देवताओंके एकमात्र आश्रय आप ही हैं
evamādīni karmāṇi yeṣāṃ saṅkhyā na vidyate | asmākaṃ bhayabhītānāṃ tvaṃ gatir madhusūdana ||
かくのごとき御業は数え尽くせず、いかなる勘定をも超えております。ああマドゥスーダナよ、恐怖に震える我ら天の神々にとって、ただあなたのみが帰依の処、そして安穏へ至る道であります。
लोगश उवाच
The verse expresses śaraṇāgati: when overwhelmed by fear and crisis, one turns to the divine as the ultimate refuge, acknowledging that divine power and beneficent deeds are immeasurable.
A speaker addresses Madhusūdana (Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa) in praise, declaring his deeds innumerable and affirming that the frightened gods have no other safe resort than him.
