कण्वोपदेशः—नश्वरबलविवेकः तथा मातलिगुणकेश्याः आख्यानारम्भः

कदर्थीकृत्य स मुनिरिषीकाभि: समार्पयत्‌ | उनके भयंकर बाण शत्रुके शरीरको छिल्न-भिन्न कर देनेवाले थे; परंतु मुनिने उन बाणोंका प्रहार करनेवाले दम्भोद्भधवकी कोई परवा न करके सींकोंसे ही उनको बींध डाला

kadarthīkṛtya sa munir ṛṣīkābhiḥ samārpayat |

ラーマは言った。かの聖仙は彼を徹底して辱めたのち、女の修行者たちに引き渡した。敵の矢は凄まじく、肉体を裂き砕くほどであったが、仙人は矢を放つダンボッドバヴァの驕りなど意に介さず、ただの葦の茎で彼を貫いた。霊威と自制が、粗暴な暴力を無力にすることを示したのである。
