Transliteration

duḥśāsanaḥ sātyakaye dadāv āsanam uttamam

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ドゥフシャーサナはサーティヤキに最上の座を差し出した――緊迫した交渉のさなかにあっても、敵対する陣営同士が礼節と歓待の形を保つ、その外面的な敬意のしるしであった。
