Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
आने प्रदक्षिणं कृत्वा ब्राह्मणांश्व जनार्दन: । कौस्तुभं मणिमामुच्य श्रिया परमया ज्वलन्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | agniṃ brāhmaṇāṃś ca pradakṣiṇaṃ kṛtvā janārdanaḥ | kaustubhaṃ maṇim āmuccya śriyā paramayā jvalan | kṛtāñjalir iva gambhīraśabdaṃ kurvāṇaṃ sajala-megha-garjana-samam | sarva-ratna-vibhūṣitaṃ divyaṃ rathaṃ samupasthitaṃ jñātvā | kauravaiḥ parivṛtaḥ vṛṣṇi-vīraiḥ surakṣitaḥ sarva-yādavān ānandayann mahāmanāḥ śūra-nandanaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇo janārdano ratham ārūḍhavān |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ジャナールダナは聖火とブラーフマナたちを右繞して礼拝し、火とブラーフマナを敬って右に置いた。胸にはカウストゥバの宝珠を掛け、至上の光輝に燃え立ちながら、あらゆる宝玉で飾られ、雨雲の雷鳴のごとき深い響きを発する神妙なる戦車へと近づいた。クル族に囲まれ、ヴリシュニの勇士に守られ、ヤーダヴァのすべてを歓ばせる高邁なるシュリー・クリシュナは、その戦車に乗り込んだ。
