Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate udyogaparvaṇi bhagavadyānaparvaṇi mārge sabhā-nirmāṇe pañcāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』「ウド्योग・パルヴァ」中、とりわけ主の使節行（バガヴァッド・ヤーナ）に属し、道中における सभा（集会殿）の造営を語る段にて、第八十五章は終わる。これは一つの物語単位の終結を示す奥書であり、戦を避けんとする外交の道義的緊張の中に出来事を位置づける。
