सहदेव–सात्यकि संवादः
Sahadeva and Satyaki on resolve after failed conciliation
स भवान् कुरुमध्ये तं सान्त्वपूर्व भयोत्तरम् | ब्रूयाद् वाक््यं यथा मन्दो न व्यथेत सुयोधन:
sa bhavān kurumadhye taṃ sāntvapūrvaṃ bhayottaram | brūyād vākyaṃ yathā mando na vyatheta suyodhanaḥ ||
ナクラは言った。「クル族のただ中で彼に語りかけるには、まず宥めの言葉から入り、最後に戦の恐ろしさを示して結べ。そうすれば愚鈍なスヨーダナ（ドゥルヨーダナ）の心は内より揺らがぬ。昂ぶりを抑えつつ、争いの危険を悟らせるように語れ。」
