विष्णुविक्रमणाद्‌ देवो जयनाज्जिष्णुरुच्यते

viṣṇu-vikramaṇād devo jayanāj jiṣṇur ucyate

サンジャヤは言った。ヴィシュヌの偉大なる歩みを踏みしめたゆえに彼は「デーヴァ」と呼ばれ、戦場において勝利するゆえに「ジシュヌ」と呼ばれる—これらの名は、正しき勝利として現れる神威を讃えるものである。
