naivābhimanyur na yamau taṁ deśam abhiyānti vai | yatra kṛṣṇau ca kṛṣṇā ca satyabhāmā ca bhāminī ||

The verse highlights discipline and propriety: even eminent warriors and princes do not enter a sensitive space uninvited. In dharmic governance, access to counsel is regulated to protect deliberation, dignity, and the gravity of decisions.
Sañjaya reports that Abhimanyu and the twins (Nakula–Sahadeva) were not able/allowed to approach the place where Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna were together, along with Draupadī and Satyabhāmā—indicating an exclusive gathering or guarded meeting in the lead-up to major events.
