The verse highlights the ideal of kṣatriya excellence: fearlessness, mastery in arms, and proven valor. By praising Arjuna as unparalleled, it underscores confidence grounded in demonstrated capability rather than mere boast, aligning martial strength with the ethical duty to protect dharma.
In the Udyoga Parva’s war-preparation context, Dhṛṣṭadyumna speaks to strengthen resolve and morale. He asserts that no warrior on earth matches Arjuna—called Savyasācī—thereby affirming the Pāṇḍavas’ strategic and moral confidence as conflict becomes inevitable.
