Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था

कस्तांस्तरस्विनो भूय: संदीपयति पाण्डवान्‌ | अर्चिष्मतो महेष्वासान्‌ हविषा पावकानिव,संजय! तुम पुनः मेरे सामने पाण्डवोंकी चेष्टाका वर्णन करो। कौन ऐसा वीर है, जो वेगशाली और तेजस्वी महाधनुर्धर पाण्डवोंको बार-बार उसी प्रकार उत्तेजित किया करता है, जैसे घीकी आहुति डालनेसे आग प्रज्वलित हो उठती है

kas tāṁs tarasvino bhūyaḥ sandīpayati pāṇḍavān | arcīṣmato maheṣvāsān haviṣā pāvakān iva, sañjaya |

ドゥルヨーダナは言った。「サンジャヤよ、こここの私の前で、パーンダヴァたちの企てと動きをもう一度語れ。いったい誰という戦士が、パーンダヴァの中の俊敏にして光輝ある大弓の勇士たちを、酥油(ギー)の供物で火がいよいよ燃え上がるように、たびたび奮い立たせるのだ?」
