भीमसेनानुरोधाय हनूमान्‌ मारुतात्मज: । आत्मप्रतिकृतिं तस्मिन्‌ ध्वज आरोपयिष्यति,भीमसेनके अनुरोधकी रक्षाके लिये पवननन्दन हनुमानजी उस ध्वजमें युद्धके समय अपने स्वरूपको स्थापित करेंगे

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

bhīmasenānurodhāya hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ |

ātmapratikṛtiṁ tasmin dhvaja āropayiṣyati ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「ビーマセーナの願いを尊び、彼を守護するために、風神の子ハヌマーンはその旗標に登り、戦の時のために自らの姿の顕現をそこに据えるであろう。」この挿話は、血縁と信愛、そして正法にかなう同盟によって授けられる守護の恩寵を示している。
