तथा चेदिपतेभ्राता शरभो भरतर्षभ | करकर्षेण सहितस्ताभ्यां वस्ते5भ्ययुज्जत,भरतश्रेष्ठ! चेदिराजके भाई शरभ (अपने अनुज) करकर्षके साथ पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आये हैं। उन दोनोंको साथ लेकर उन्होंने आपसे युद्ध करनेका उद्योग किया है

Transliteration

tathā cedipate bhrātā śarabho bharatarṣabha | karakarṣeṇa sahitas tābhyāṃ vaste 'bhyayujjata ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「バーラタ族の雄牛よ、チェーディ国主の兄弟シャラバが、カラカルシャを伴って来た。彼はその同盟者らと合流し、パーンダヴァを助けるべく力を整えて、汝らと戦う企てに身を投じた。」
