Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 47 — Arjuna’s Deterrent Declaration
Sañjaya’s Report

The verse functions as a warning: choosing war against divinely guided and supremely capable warriors is ethically and prudentially disastrous. It implies that ignoring wise counsel and provoking such opponents is a deviation from dharma and sound statecraft.
Sañjaya is describing to Dhṛtarāṣṭra the formidable side aligned with the Pāṇḍavas—especially Bhīma, Arjuna, and Kṛṣṇa—emphasizing the peril of engaging them in battle and the catastrophic consequences of hostile intent.
