यदा द्रष्टा भीमसेनं रथस्थं गदाहस्तं क्रोधविषं वमन्तम् । अमर्षणं पाण्डवं भीमवेगं तदा युद्ध धार्तराष्ट्रोडन्वतप्स्यत्
yadā draṣṭā bhīmasenaṁ rathasthaṁ gadāhastaṁ krodhaviṣaṁ vamantam | amarṣaṇaṁ pāṇḍavaṁ bhīmavegaṁ tadā yuddhe dhārtarāṣṭro 'nutapsyate ||
サञ्जयは言った。ドゥルヨーダナが、戦車に座し、手に棍棒を握り、怒りの毒を吐き散らすかのようなビーマセーナ—屈せぬパーンダヴァ、恐るべき疾風のごとき猛進—を目にする時、戦のただ中で、ドゥリタラーシュトラの子は、この戦がもたらすものを思い、悔恨に襲われるであろう。
