सुवृत्तो भव राजेन्द्र पाण्डवान् प्रति मानद | अधर्षणीय: शत्रूणां तैर्व॒तस्त्वं भविष्यसि,राजेन्द्र! आप पाण्डवोंके प्रति सद्व्यवहार करें। मानद! उनसे सुरक्षित होकर आप शत्रुओंके लिये दुर्धर्ष हो जाये
suvṛtto bhava rājendra pāṇḍavān prati mānada | adharṣaṇīyaḥ śatrūṇāṃ tair vṛtatas tvaṃ bhaviṣyasi rājendra ||
ヴィドゥラは言った。「おお、王の中の最上よ、名誉を授ける者よ、パーンダヴァたちに対して正しく振る舞いなさい。彼らと歩調を合わせ、その庇護を得るなら、汝は敵にとって攻め難い存在となろう。ゆえに、正しき者への倫理的で敬意ある交わりは、道義の位と現実の安泰の双方を確かなものとする。」
