अन्धांश्व सर्वान् स्थविरांस्तथैव हस्त्याजीवा बहवो ये>त्र सन्ति । आखूयाय मां कुशलिन सम तेभ्यो- 5प्यनामयं परिपृच्छेर्जघन्यम्
andhāṁś ca sarvān sthavirāṁs tathaiva hastyājīvā bahavo ye ’tra santi | āhūyāya māṁ kuśalinaḥ samaṁ tebhyo ’py anāmayaṁ paripṛccheḥ jaghanyam ||
ユディシュティラは言った。「また、盲目の者すべて、同じく老いた者すべて、そしてここにいて象に関わる生業で暮らす多くの者にも。私が無事であると告げたのち、彼らの安否と無病をも併せて問い尋ねよ。彼らのうち最も卑しき者であっても、問わずに残してはならぬ。」
