Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
अर्हत्तम: कुरुषु सौमदत्ति: स नो भ्राता संजय मत्सखा च | महेष्वासो रथिनामुत्तमो्ई: सहामात्य: कुशल तस्य पृच्छे:
arhattamaḥ kuruṣu saumadattiḥ sa no bhrātā saṃjaya matsakha ca | maheṣvāso rathinām uttamo hi sahāmātyaḥ kuśalaṃ tasya pṛccheḥ ||
ユディシュティラは言った。「クル族の中で、サウマダッティ（ブーリシュラヴァス）は最も敬うべき者とされる。サンジャヤよ、彼は我らの縁者であり、また私の親しい友でもある。大車戦の勇士の中でも第一級—卓越した弓の名手にして、尊ぶべき英雄だ。私からの挨拶を伝え、彼の大臣たちとともに安否を問うてくれ。」
