Educational Q&A

Deception (vipralambha) that violates trust and honor can rapidly escalate into anger and conflict; ethical lapses in diplomacy or marriage/political arrangements have consequences that spread beyond the immediate parties.

The attendants of the Daśārṇa ruler recount the events truthfully, describing the deception that occurred. On hearing their report, the Daśārṇa king becomes intensely angry, indicating a turning point toward retaliation or political tension.
