ततो वै सहसोत्थाय रामो मामभ्यवर्तत । पुनर्युद्धाय कौरव्य विद्वल: क्रोधमूरच्च्छित:,कुरुनन्दन! इसी समय परशुरामजी सहसा उठकर क्रोधसे मूर्च्छित एवं विह्नल हो पुनः युद्धके लिये मेरे समीप आये
tato vai sahasotthāya rāmo mām abhyavartata | punar yuddhāya kauravya vidvalaḥ krodha-mūrcchitaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「それからラーマ（パラシュラーマ）はたちまち跳ね起き、再び戦うために私へと迫ってきた。おお、クル族の末裔よ、彼は惑乱し、怒りにより気を失ったかのように、もう一度戦いを新たにせんとして戻ってきた。」
