अभिवाद्य तथैवाहं रथमारुह्म भारत । युयुत्सुर्जामदग्न्यस्य प्रमुखे वीतभी: स्थित:,भारत! पूर्ववत्‌ गुरुको प्रणाम करके अपने रथपर आखरूढ़ हो युद्धकी इच्छासे परशुरामजीके सामने मैं निर्भय होकर डट गया

abhivādya tathaivāhaṁ ratham āruhma bhārata | yuyutsur jāmadagnyasya pramukhe vīta-bhīḥ sthitaḥ ||

ビーシュマは言った。「バーラタよ、私は以前と同じく師に礼拝してから戦車に乗り、そして戦いを望みつつ、ジャマダグニの子(パラシュラーマ)の前に、恐れなく堅く立った。」
