Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
गत्वाहं जामदग्न्यं तु प्रयाचिष्ये कुरूद्वह । भीष्मेण सह मा योत्सी: शिष्येणेति पुन: पुन:
gatvāhaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ tu prayāciṣye kurūdvaha | bhīṣmeṇa saha mā yotsīḥ śiṣyeṇeti punaḥ punaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おお、クル族の中の雄よ。私は自らジャマダグニの子パラシュラーマのもとへ赴き、幾度も懇願しよう――『ビーシュマ、すなわちあなた自身の弟子と戦ってはならぬ』と。」
