ततः संदर्शने5तिष्ठ॑ं रामस्थातितपस्विन: । प्रगृह्ा शड्खप्रवरं तत: प्राधममुत्तमम्,तदनन्तर मैं अत्यन्त तपस्वी परशुरामजीकी दृष्टिके सामने खड़ा हुआ और अपने श्रेष्ठ शंखको हाथमें लेकर उसे जोर-जोरसे बजाने लगा
tataḥ sandarśane ’tiṣṭhaṃ rāmasthātitapaspinaḥ | pragṛhya śaṅkhapravaraṃ tataḥ prādhmam uttamam ||
それから私は、最上の苦行者であるラーマ（パラシュラーマ）の前に向き合って立った。自らの最良の法螺貝を取り上げ、力の限り吹き鳴らし—挑戦を受けたクシャトリヤのダルマに背くことなく、戦いに臨む決意と覚悟を公然と示した。
