Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
अर्थ वा यदि वा धर्मे समर्थो देशकालवित् । अर्थसंशयमापतन्न: श्रेयान्नि:संशयो नर:
artha vā yadi vā dharme samartho deśa-kāla-vit | artha-saṁśayam āpatan naḥ śreyān niḥsaṁśayo naraḥ ||
ラーマは言った。「世の利（アルタ）の事であれ、ダルマの事であれ、力量があり、時と場所の要請を知る者が、物質的な得失に疑いが生じたときその疑わしい道を捨て、疑念なき心でただダルマのみを行うなら、その人こそより優れた者と見なされる。」
