साहमामन्त्र्य गाड़ेयं समरेष्वनिवर्तिनम् । अनुज्ञाता च तेनैव ततो5हं भूशमागता,'युद्धमोें कभी पीठ न दिखानेवाले गंगानन्दन भीष्मसे पूछकर, उनकी आज्ञा लेकर अत्यन्त उत्कण्ठाके साथ मैं यहाँ आयी हूँ
sāham āmantrya gāṅgeyaṃ samareṣv anivartinam | anujñātā ca tenaiva tato ’haṃ bhūśam āgatā ||
私はガンガーの子ビーシュマ—戦場において決して背を向けぬ御方—のもとへ赴き、言葉をかけて許しを得た。その許しを携え、激しい切望を胸にここへ来たのである。
