ते स्मरन्तश्न संग्रामे चरिष्यन्ति च रुद्रवत् । द्यूतक्रीड़ाके समय द्रौपदीको जो महान् क्लेश दिया गया और पाण्डवोंके प्रति कठोर बातें सुनायी गयीं
te smarantas tu saṅgrāme cariṣyanti ca rudravat | dyūtakrīḍā-kāle draupadyā mahān kleśo yaḥ pradattaḥ pāṇḍavān prati ca kaṭhorāṇi vacāṃsi śrāvitāni tāni sarvāṇi smṛtvā te raṇabhūmau rudrasamaṃ vicariṣyanti |
ビーシュマは言った。「戦いのさなかにそれらを想い起こし、彼らはルドラのごとく駆け巡るであろう。賽の戯れの折にドラウパディーへ加えられた大いなる辱め、そしてパーンダヴァたちに浴びせられた苛烈な言葉――それらを胸に刻み、彼らは戦場をルドラのように往来する。」
