अनुनीय च तान् सर्वान् यथामान्यं यथावय: । धर्मराजस्तदा वाक्य तत्प्राप्यं प्रत्यभाषत,तदनन्तर धर्मराजने उन समस्त राजाओंको उनकी अवस्था और प्रतिष्ठाके अनुसार अनुनय-विनय करके शान्त किया और दुर्योधनको देनेयोग्य जो संदेश था, उसे इस प्रकार कहा--
anunīya ca tān sarvān yathāmānyaṃ yathāvayaḥ | dharmarājas tadā vākyaṃ tatprāpyaṃ pratyabhāṣata ||
サञ्जयは言った。法王（ユディシュティラ）は、そこに集う諸王をそれぞれの位階と年齢にふさわしく礼を尽くして宥め、心を鎮めさせたのち、ドゥルヨーダナへ届けるべき使信の言葉を、時宜にかなう作法で語った。
