विराटद्रुपदाभ्यां च सपुत्राभ्यां समन्वितम्‌ | केकयैरव॑ष्णिभिश्लैव पार्थिव: शतशो वृतम्‌

virāṭa-drupadābhyāṁ ca sa-putrābhyāṁ samanvitam | kekayair vṛṣṇibhiś caiva pārthivaḥ śataśo vṛtam ||

ジャナメージャヤは言った。「(ユディシュティラの軍勢には)子らを伴うヴィラータとドルパダが加わり、さらにケーカヤの諸将とヴリシュニ族も周囲を固め、幾百の王たちが取り巻いていました。戦を志し、シュリー・クリシュナに守られてクルクシェートラに到り、そこに陣を構えたユディシュティラが、ヴィラータとドルパダおよびその子らに随伴され、アーディティヤに囲まれるインドラのごとく多くの大車戦士に護られていると聞いて、ドゥルヨーダナはそのとき何をしたのですか。」
