वैशम्पायन उवाच तथोक्ते सहदेवेन वाक्ये वाक्यविशारद: । नकुलो<नन्तरं तस्मादिदं वचनमाददे,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! सहदेवके इस प्रकार कहनेपर प्रवचनकुशल नकुलने उनके बाद यह बात कही--
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tathokte Sahadevena vākye vākyaviśāradaḥ | Nakulo 'nantaraṃ tasmād idaṃ vacanam ādade ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「サハデーヴァがそのように語り終えると、言葉を整えることに長けたナクラが、ただちにその後を受けて次のように述べた。」
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights ethical communication and orderly deliberation: wise counsel is offered in sequence, with each speaker responding respectfully, suggesting that decisions—especially those leading toward conflict—should be guided by measured, articulate speech.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that after Sahadeva finishes speaking, Nakula—described as eloquent—speaks next, introducing the continuation of the brothers’ counsel within the Udyoga Parva context.
