सर्वेषां कर्मणां तात फले नित्यमनित्यता । अनित्यमिति जानन्तो न भवन्ति भवन्ति च
sarveṣāṁ karmaṇāṁ tāta phale nityam anityatā | anityam iti jānanto na bhavanti bhavanti ca, tāta ||
「父上、あらゆる行いの果には常に無常がある。ある時は果を得、ある時は得られぬ。この不確かさと移ろいを知りつつも、賢者はなお行う。ゆえに、時に失し、時に成すのだ。」
पुत्र उवाच
All action-results are inherently uncertain and impermanent; knowing this, the wise still perform their duties without being paralyzed by the possibility of failure, accepting that outcomes alternate between success and non-success.
