अत एकत्रिशदधिकशततमो< ध्याय: भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णका विश्वरूप दर्शन कराकर कौरवसभासे प्रस्थान वैशम्पायन उवाच विदुरेणैवमुक्तस्तु केशव: शत्रुपूगहा | दुर्योधन धार्तराष्ट्रमभ्यभाषत वीर्यवान्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca | vidureṇaivam uktas tu keśavaḥ śatrupūgahaḥ | duryodhanaṃ dhārtarāṣṭram abhyabhāṣata vīryavān | durbuddhe duryodhana! tvaṃ mohavaśād yo mām ekākinaṃ manyase, tasmād avajñāya māṃ grahītuṃ icchasi—tad ajñānam ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ヴィドゥラがそのように述べ終えると、敵の隊列を滅ぼす剛力のケーシャヴァは、ドリタラーシュトラの子ドゥルヨーダナにこう告げた。「悪しき思慮のドゥルヨーダナよ! 迷妄ゆえに我を独りと思い、そのため我を侮って捕らえようとする。これは汝の無知である。」

Arrogance rooted in delusion mistakes true strength for weakness. Kṛṣṇa identifies Duryodhana’s intent to seize him as born of ajñāna (ignorance): contempt for dharma and failure to recognize the larger reality—moral and divine—behind apparent circumstances.

After Vidura’s words, Kṛṣṇa turns to Duryodhana in the Kaurava assembly and rebukes him. Duryodhana is contemplating insulting or even capturing Kṛṣṇa, thinking him ‘alone’; Kṛṣṇa exposes this as delusion and warns him of his misunderstanding.
