नहुष बोले--सुन्दरी! तुम मुझसे यहाँ जैसा कह रही हो ऐसा ही हो। इसके अनुसार पता लगाकर तुम्हें मेरे पास आ जाना चाहिये; इस सत्यको सदा याद रखना ।। नहुषेण विसृष्टा च निश्चक्राम ततः शुभा । बृहस्पतिनिकेतं च सा जगाम यशस्विनी
nahuṣa uvāca—sundari! tvaṃ mayātra yathā bravīṣi tathaiva bhavatu; etad-anusṛtya jñātvā mām upāgaccha; imaṃ satyaṃ sadā smara. nahuṣeṇa visṛṣṭā ca niścakrāma tataḥ śubhā; bṛhaspati-niketaṃ ca sā jagāma yaśasvinī.
ナフシャは言った。「美しき女よ、ここでおまえが言うとおりにせよ。そのとおりに事の次第を確かめ、そしてわたしのもとへ来るがよい。この真実を常に忘れるな。」こうしてナフシャに暇を与えられた吉祥にして名高き女は立ち去り、ブリハスパティ（Bṛhaspati）の住まいへ赴いた。
