उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly
ग्रहीतुकामो विक्रम्य सर्वयत्नेन माधवम् । ग्रहीतुं नाशकच्चैन त॑ त्वं प्रार्थथसे बलात्
grahītukāmo vikramya sarvayatnena mādhavam | grahītuṃ nāśakac cainaṃ taṃ tvaṃ prārthathase balāt ||
ヴィドゥラは言った。「彼は全ての武勇を奮い、あらゆる手立てを尽くしてマーダヴァ（聖なるクリシュナ）を捕らえようとしたが、ついに一度も捉えることはできなかった。しかるにお前は今、その同じクリシュナを力ずくで支配しようというのか。」
