Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
सम्यग्वृत्तेष्वलुब्धेषु सततं धर्मचारिषु । स्वेषु बन्धुषु कः साधुश्नरेदेवमसाम्प्रतम्,“सदा धर्ममें ही तत्पर रहनेवाले लोभरहित सदाचारी अपने बन्धुओंके प्रति कौन साधु पुरुष ऐसा अयोग्य बर्ताव करेगा?
samyagvṛtteṣv alubdheṣu satataṁ dharmacāriṣu | sveṣu bandhuṣu kaḥ sādhuḥ naredevaṁ asāmpratam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。身内の縁者が、正しい行いを守り、貪りなく、常にダルマに従っているというのに――この時に及んで、いったいどの善き人が、かくも不相応で卑しき振る舞いをするだろうか。
