नारद उवाच
As a chapter-colophon, it highlights the ethical motif of Yayāti’s fall from heaven: heavenly attainments are not permanent, and pride or the exhaustion of merit leads to decline; lasting worth lies in dharma and inner discipline rather than in transient celestial reward.
This line is a concluding notice stating that the 121st chapter has ended, situated in the Bhagavad-yāna section of the Udyoga Parva, within the Galava-episode context, and that the chapter’s subject concerned Yayāti’s fall from Svarga.
