अस्यां राजर्षिश्रि: पुत्रा जाता वै धार्मिकास्त्रय: । चतुर्थ जनयत्वेक॑ भवानपि नरोत्तमम्,*राजर्षियोंने इसके गर्भसे तीन धर्मात्मा पुत्र उत्पन्न किये हैं। अब आप भी एक नरश्रेष्ठ पुत्र उत्पन्न कीजिये, जिसकी संख्या चौथी होगी
asyāṁ rājarṣiśrīḥ putrā jātā vai dhārmikās trayaḥ | caturthaṁ janayatv ekaṁ bhavān api narottamam ||
ナーラダは言った。「この高貴なる女性からは、王仙たちにより、すでに法にかなう三人の子が生まれている。今度は汝もまた、人中の最勝者よ、ただ一人の男子をもうけよ。彼を第四の子とするために。」
नारद उवाच
The verse frames progeny as an ethical and dynastic responsibility: righteous lineage (dhārmika putras) is praised, and the addressee is urged to contribute a worthy successor—‘narottama’—so that virtue and stability continue through the family line.
Nārada addresses a respected man, noting that a noble woman has already borne three righteous sons to royal sages, and he urges the listener to beget one more outstanding son, who would become the fourth in that sequence.
