Gālava’s Audience with King Uśīnara

नारद उवाच तमुपागम्य स मुनिर्न्यायतस्तेन सत्कृत: । गालव: प्रसवस्यार्थ त॑ं नृपं प्रत्यचोदयत्‌,नारदजी कहते हैं--राजा दिवोदासके यहाँ जानेपर गालव मुनिका उनके द्वारा यथोचित सत्कार किया गया। तदनन्तर गालवने पूर्ववत्‌ उन्हें भी शुल्क देकर उस कन्यासे एक संतान उत्पन्न करनेके लिये प्रेरित किया

Transliteration

nārada uvāca | tam upāgamya sa munir nyāyatas tena satkṛtaḥ | gālavaḥ prasavasyārthaṃ taṃ nṛpaṃ pratyacodayat |

Translation

ナーラダは語った。かの牟尼が近づくと、王は礼にかなって彼を厚くもてなした。そののち子を得るために、ガーラヴァは先と同じく、その王にも約定の礼（報酬）を受け取らせ、あの乙女を通して子をもうけるよう促した。
