वक्तुमिच्छामि तु सखे यथा जानासि मां पुरा । न तथा वित्तवानस्मि क्षीणं वित्तं च मे सखे,'सखे! फिर भी मैं एक बात कहना चाहता हूँ। आप पहलेसे मुझे जैसा धनवान्‌ समझते हैं, वैसा धनसम्पन्न अब मैं नहीं रह गया हूँ। मित्र! मेरा वैभव इन दिनों क्षीण हो गया है

Transliteration

vaktum icchāmi tu sakhe yathā jānāsi māṃ purā | na tathā vittavān asmi kṣīṇaṃ vittaṃ ca me sakhe ||

Translation

ナーラダは言った。「友よ、なお一つ告げたいことがある。かつてお前が知っていたように――富める者としての我――そのような我ではもはやない。友よ、近ごろ我が資財は衰え、乏しくなったのだ。」
