चतस्र: क्रमयोगेन कामाशां गन्तुमिच्छसि । तात! इस प्रकार मैंने क्रमश: चारों दिशाओंका तुम्हारे सामने विस्तारपूर्वक वर्णन किया है। कहो, किस दिशामें चलना चाहते हो?
catasraḥ kramayogena kāmāśāṃ gantum icchasi | tāta! iti prakāraṃ mayā kramaśaś catasro diśas tava purataḥ vistārapūrvakaṃ varṇitāḥ | vada, kasyāṃ diśi gantum icchasi?
「おまえは望む方角へ、段を追って進もうとしているのだな。愛しい子よ、このようにして私は四方を順に、余すところなく詳しく語ってきた。さあ言え――おまえはどの方角を選ぶのか。」
