Transliteration

tataḥ praṇādaḥ saṃjajñe sarveṣu kuruveśmasu | ākumāraṃ puraṃ sarvam abhavac chokakarṣitam ||

Translation

そののち、クル族のすべての家々に大いなる慟哭が起こった。幼子から老いた者に至るまで、都のすべてが悲しみに捕らえられ、引きずり沈められた。
