अम्बरीषस्य मान्धातु: पृथिवी सा त्वयि स्थिता । सत्वां द्रव्यमयो यज्ञ: सम्प्राप्त: सर्वदक्षिण:,पहले यह पृथ्वी बारी-बारीसे राजा दिलीप, नृग, नहुष, अम्बरीष और मान्धाताके अधिकारमें रही है, वही इस समय आपके अधीन हो गयी है। अत: आपके समक्ष सर्वस्वकी दक्षिणा देकर द्रव्यमय यज्ञके अनुष्ठान करनेका अवसर प्राप्त हुआ है

Transliteration

ambarīṣasya māndhātuḥ pṛthivī sā tvayi sthitā | sa tvāṁ dravyamayo yajñaḥ samprāptaḥ sarvadakṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

アルジュナは言った。「かつてアンバリーシャ（Ambarīṣa）やマーンダートリ（Māndhātṛ）らの王権のもとにあったその大地が、いまあなたの支配下にある。ゆえにあなたは、あらゆるダクシナー（dakṣiṇā、祭礼の謝礼）を具えた物質の祭祀を行う機会を得たのだ。すなわち、すべての富をダクシナーとして捧げ尽くすことによって。」
