yudhiṣṭhira uvāca
kena vṛttena vṛttajña vartamāno mahīpatiḥ |
sukhena arthān sukhodarkān iha ca pretya cāpnuyāt ||
ユディシュティラは言った。「祖父よ、正しい作法を知り尽くす御方よ。いかなる生き方と、いかなる規律ある振る舞いによって、正しい行いに住する王は、この世においても、また死後の彼世においても、幸福をもたらす目的を容易に得ることができるのでしょうか。」
