अशृण्वाना: पुराणानां धर्माणां परमा गती: । उत्पथं प्रतिपत्स्यन्ते काममन्युसमीरिता:

Transliteration

aśṛṇvānāḥ purāṇānāṃ dharmāṇāṃ paramā gatīḥ | utpathaṃ pratipatsyante kāma-manyu-samīritāḥ ||

Translation

インドラは言った。「欲と怒りに駆られて、人々は古の教えに背を向け、ダルマについてプラーナが説く至上の帰趣に耳を貸さなくなる。これらの情念に煽られ、彼らは邪道へと踏み入り、正しき行いの最高の果報から逸れてゆく。」
