Cāturāśramya-dharma—Marks of the Four Āśramas (चातुराश्रम्यधर्मः)
एतान्येवंप्रकाराणि विहितानि पुरानघ । सर्वलोकस्य कर्माणि कर्तव्यानीह पार्थिव
etāny evaṁprakārāṇi vihitāni purānagha | sarvalokasya karmāṇi kartavyānīha pārthiva || niṣpāpa nareśa |
インドラは言った。「罪なき者よ、これらの務めは—このような類として—はるかな昔に定められた。この世において、王よ、すべての人々の行いと義務はそれに従って果たされねばならぬ。汚れなき人の主よ、略奪により生きる者でさえ、これらの法令を正しく守るべきである。」
