मन्वन्तरेषु सर्वेषु विषमा जायते मही । उज्जहार ततो वैन्य: शिलाजालान्‌ समन्तत:

manvantareṣu sarveṣu viṣamā jāyate mahī | ujjahāra tato vainyaḥ śilājālān samantataḥ ||

ビーシュマは言った。「あらゆるマヌヴァンタラにおいて、大地は不均しさを増し、障りに満ちる。ゆえにヴァイニヤ(プリトゥ王)は四方にわたって岩の障壁の網を取り除き、土地の秩序と用益を回復したのである。」
