राजधर्मप्रश्नः — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry into Rājadharma (Śānti-parva 56)
प्रेष्प्माणा विकल्पन्ते गुह्मां चाप्पनुयुञ्जते । अयाच्य॑ चैव याचन्ते भोज्यान्याहारयन्ति च
preṣyamāṇā vikalpante guhyaṃ cāpy anuyuñjate | ayācyaṃ caiva yācante bhojyāny āhārayanti ca ||
ビーシュマは言った。「そのような者を用いて事を成さしめようとすれば、彼らは無用の逡巡を持ち出して成否を疑わしくする。さらに秘すべきことを嗅ぎ回り、王の隠れた過失を人前にさらす。求めてはならぬものを求め、王のために備えた食をさえ自ら食らう。」
भीष्म उवाच
