Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
यद् यच्च धर्मसंयुक्तमर्थयुक्तमथापि च । चिन्तयिष्यसि तत्राग्य्रा बुद्धिस्तव भविष्यति,आप जिस-जिस धर्मयुक्त या अर्थयुक्त विषयका चिन्तन करेंगे, उसमें आपकी बुद्धि सफलतापूर्वक आगे बढ़ती जायगी
yad yac ca dharmasaṁyuktam arthayuktam athāpi ca | cintayiṣyasi tatrāgryā buddhis tava bhaviṣyati ||
ヴァーユは言った。「汝が思惟するいかなる事柄も—それがダルマにかなうものであれ、アルタに関わるものであれ—その件において汝の बुद्धि は最上となり、成就をもって前へ前へと進むであろう。」
