स तेनाकुण्ठधारेण ज्वलितानलवर्चसा । कुठारेणाप्रमेयेण लोकेष्वप्रतिमो5भवत्‌,उस कुठारकी धार कभी कुण्ठित नहीं होती थी। वह जलती हुई आगके समान उद्दीप्त दिखायी देता था। उस अप्रमेय शक्तिशाली कुठारके कारण परशुरामजी सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें अप्रतिम वीर हो गये

Transliteration

sa tenākuṇṭhadhāreṇa jvalitānalavarcāsā | kuṭhāreṇāprameyeṇa lokeṣv apratimo 'bhavat ||

Translation

その刃が決して鈍らぬ斧は、燃えさかる火の光輝のごとく赫々と輝き、彼はあらゆる世界において比類なき者となった。その測り知れぬ威力をもつ強大な斧によって、パラシュラーマは至るところで無双の英雄的名声を得た。
